About Me
My name is Carter De Spirito, and I am a student at Waunakee Community High School who is currently taking the IDEA course. I took this course because I enjoy Art and Engineering, and this course allows me to blend them both into one semester instead of having to separate them into two year long courses.
I am a student pilot at Morey Airplane Company in Middleton, as well as the Treasurer of the Aviation Club, so it doesn't come as a surprise that after High School I hope to either become a Pilot or an Aerospace Engineer. Along with the hobby of Aviation I also enjoy playing guitar, playing my saxophone, fishing, and tinkering in my garage. My most recent "tinker" was a corrugated plastic boat that I made with two sheets of coroplast and a trolling motor I bought for $30.
Outside of School I have many activities. I work for the Village Center as a Flag-Football referee and a T-ball coach. I also am part of the Aviation club, Art club, and I play tenor saxophone in Jazz I. Additionally, I run track in the Spring and I am a Varsity Pole Vaulter.
